European Schoolnet, on behalf of the European Commission, is coordinating the Eurocompetition, to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the EU's Economic and Monetary Union (EMU). Young people are invited to join in the celebration by taking part in this online poster competition. The Eurocompetition - for pupils aged 10-14 - aims to raise awareness of the benefits that monetary union and the euro have brought European citizens.

Maltese project wins 2007 EUN eLearning Awards
The project ‘Rescue La Vallette: An Adventure in Time’ from the Dun Anton Manche school in Malta won the Young Digital Planet Award for best use of ICT at the 7th eLearning Awards. The ceremony was held in conjunction with the EMINENT 2007 Conference in Brussels on 6 December 2007.

CALIBRATE
The CALIBRATE (Calibrating eLearning in Schools) project (October 2005 – March 2008) brings together eight Ministries of Education, (including six MoEs from new member states), to carry out a multi-level project designed to support the collaborative use and exchange of learning resources in schools.
